Every month a few resolute members gather on the 2nd Saturday of the month to pray for Holy Redeemer (the congregation, the individual members, and the ministries), to offer up concerns for people outside of the community of Holy Redeemer and for the world at large, and to share with one another how they see God being active in their lives. For many years they have met in the sanctuary, but now they are moving due to the use of the sanctuary on Saturday morning by the Seventh Day Adventist Congregation.
If you are interested in participating in the praying and the sharing, you will now find this little band in the Bangsund Room (same 2nd Saturday and same 10am to noon time). An altar has been set up in this room, as it has been turned into a multipurpose teaching-meeting-and meditation room used by Adult Education, Praying and Sharing and the BLT.
We still have music to meditate by, coffee and tea and water to share (bring your own juice), the celebration of communion and a great feeling as we leave after another month of listening to God and one another.
The next gathering of the Praying and Sharing Service will be on July 10, beginning at 10 am. There is no need to register in advance. Just show up and stake out a chair for yourself (and be prepared for what might be the most meaningful worship service you participate in all month!).
