Please remember when you travel to save your hotel supplies - shampoo, conditioner, etc and bring them to church for the personal care kits. Likewise when you shop, pick up a extra supplies for the kits as well.
Whenever possible, each kit contains: toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, washcloth, soap, deodorant, nail tools (emery board, clipper. . .) comb, Chapstick, a razor or two, a small packet of Kleenex , and personal care (tampons and pads). In addition to the kits with the individual items, we often take them large containers of shampoo and conditioner, shave cream, etc.
Any or all of these items are appreciated as the shelter is always in need and often eagerly awaiting the packets when they arrive.
