Fundraising Opportunities at Holy Redeemer

You can raise funds for Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church when you shop at Safeway (and other participating merchants)!

Every purchase made at eScrip Merchants with an eScrip-registered debit/credit card brings contributions to Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church!

Already registered with eScrip (and donating to Holy Redeemer)? Use "my eScrip" and update your registered cards and add any new cards for additional contributions.

Holy Redeemer earns up to 18% when you shop at the eScrip Online Mall (hundreds of name-brand online merchants).

Can and Bottle Recycling

Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church collects cans and bottles (ones with CRV value), recycling them to raise funds. Not only will you help Holy Redeemer raise money, but you will keep the cans and bottles out of the landfill or littering our environment.

Bring your cans and bottles on the second Sunday of each month. (Please be sure that they have been washed!)

Questions about the program can be directed to Pastor John.

Printer Cartridge Fund Raiser

Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church collects empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges for recycling. We can receive up to $3.00 for each cartridge recycled.

Cartridges can be deposited in our collection bin located in the narthex (church entry area), to the right of the front doors. Simply place your old cartridge in a plastic sandwich bag and deposit it in our collection bin.

Most businesses simply throw their empty cartridges in the garbage so check at your workplace to see if they would donate their would-be garbage.

A reminder: in addition to raising money for HRLC, recycling printer cartridges has a positive impact on the environment. Consider the following: Nearly 1 million printer cartridges are thrown into our landfills every day. Less than 5% of the cartridges produced are recycled. It takes 1000 years for the plastic to decompose.

Questions about the program can be directed to Carolyn Keck.

All brands of printer cartridges are accepted by our recycling program.
